The Story:

Cibulika means "onion" in Ukrainian. In Ukrainian cuisine, onion holds quite an honorable place. And despite the fact that onion makes your eyes water, it's not without its charm.

I love finding beauty in unexpected places—in things we see every day but rarely notice. I tried to preserve the onion's charm and its beautiful layered nature.

I also miss my grandmother and grandfather who live in the village. We would often make a salad from cucumbers, tomatoes, and cibulika, pour homemade sunflower oil over it all, and eat it with white bread, sitting at the table outside and talking. I miss that so much. And if the onion was good, the salad was indescribably delicious.

Use the polishing cloth included with your order, or lukewarm water with mild soap and a soft cloth. For pearls and natural stones, avoid abrasive cleaning directly on the stone or pearl.
